TERMS & CONDITIONS

Acceptance of our service is deemed acceptance of Terms and Conditions and an agreement to pay fees on time. Face to face initial meeting and interview will take place prior to booking your dog walk or animal care. 

 

ANIMAL VISITS - HOME VISITS:

 

Adequate food, litter, bedding and medication should be made available during visits.

 

DOG WALKING:

 

We reserve the right to stop walking or visiting a dog if it shows aggression to people or other dogs.

 

We will not be liable for any damage or injury caused by your dog excepting that of proven third party

 

We can not be held liable for any theft or damage to your property or injury/illness to your animal unless we can be shown to be negligent.

 

We reserve the right to deny or terminate service because of safety or financial concerns

 

Extreme weather conditions may mean a curtailment or cancellation of our services at short notice. ( We will keep your animal company if we can get there).

 

We will try to give 24hrs notice if we can not walk your dog. If not we will refund the fee for that walk.

 

We do not walk dogs during thunder storms or extreme heat but will let your dog out to relieve themselves and keep them company indoors.

 

We cannot walk bitches in season. We cannot walk ill dogs or dogs known to have an infection even on a one to one basis because of risk of cross infection.

 

We will not feed deep chested dogs in the hour before or after a walk because of the risk to your dog of gastric torsion.

 

Kennel Cough - although every care is taken to prevent contact with dogs with kennel cough, the incubation period means that it is always possible your dog may pick this up and we cannot be held liable for your dog contracting kennel cough. We strongly advise you discuss Kennel Cough vaccination with your veterinary surgeon.

 

All dogs to wear collar and disc with owners contact details.

 

HOUSE SITTING:

 

Property owner must arrange with their household insurer to extend their policy to cover losses incurred whilst there is a house sitter present. The house sitter is not insured for gardening, ladder work and leaf clearing from swimming pools.

 

PAYMENT:

 

Payment is required in advance by bank transfer, with the reference of your last name followed by the animal’s name.

 

In the case of Pet Taxi, the initial £20 to be paid in advance and extra payment to be paid later on that day.

 

Housesitting bookings require a 25% non-refundable deposit paid within 48 hrs of initial meeting. The balance of payment to be completed no later than 14 days before start of assignment.

 

CANCELLATION:

If you need to cancel your booking this should be done minimum 72 hours before service. Cancellations after that will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
